A Hands-On STEM Field Trip Near Washington, DC
Sloomoo Institute is where field trips get slimy (and scientific). Students mix, stretch, and experiment with slime, a non-Newtonian fluid, and walk away knowing more about polymer chemistry than they expected. The whole experience is packed with hands-on STEM fun, and we welcome school groups, homeschool co-ops, scout troops, summer camps, and kindergarten classes. Located at Tysons Corner Center in Northern Virginia, Sloomoo is one of the most unique indoor activities near Washington, DC, for student groups. From the Slime Gallery and Lake Sloomoo to the DIY Bar, where kids design their own custom slime, every station connects play to science. Sloomoo hosts educational field trips at nine locations across the country, and our DC-area location brings the full Institute experience. What Makes a Sloomoo Field Trip Different?
